1. Can I sort the results in stock screener?
Yes, by clicking on an individual column in the results output will sort in ascending order. A second click will sort the results in descending order
2. How do I delete a stocklist?
A stocklist can be deleted by clicking the trashcan icon in the dropdown menu of the stocklist window. A stocklist can also be deleted in the stock alerts menu.
3. Why can't I check All results for a results output?
We limit the number of stocks which can be added to a stocklist at 50 stocks per list. Results can either be checked individually or in batches of 15, 25 or 40 stocks. This imposed limit is to ensure there is sufficient processing time for intraday alert and trading strategy monitoring. As we continue to grow we can look to raise the restrictions on stocklist size.
4. Can I screen on a preselect set of stocks?
We offer pre-selection based on exchange or sector; we may in the future offer pre-selection based on a user-defined list of stocks
5. Will you be offering technical screens?
Future developments to the active stock screener will include a technical component. Our trading system will allow for technical trading strategies built on stocklists created by the stock screener
6. I have suggestions for filters?
Send them to us! We are somewhat restricted on our fundamental screening options but if there is strong demand for a particular feature we will always consider incorporating it. Suggestions for ideas which can be built in-house offer greater scope for inclusion.
7. The workspace window is too small?
Each of the windows can be resized by mousing over the middle divider bar and dragging either up or down to increase the filter window or results window.
8. Do you have preselected screening filters?
In the current version we don’t have predefined screens but articles on different types of screens appear periodically in our blog.
9. I want to change the delivery email address for my active screens?
To change the email address for delivery is shared with Stock Alerts. In the alerts interface in the settings menu (top right) you can change the address alerts are set. This will not change the email address which controls password retrieval (i.e. the email address used to sign-up to Zignals).
10. Can I screen for international stocks?
Yes - under the exchange drop-down is the list of exchanges we offer fundamentals for; these include UK, US, Canada, India, Ireland, Australia, and Germany (Frankfurt). If you can’t find your exchange drop us an email and we will investigate the possibility of adding it to our database.
11. Can I change the displayed column settings?
Yes - in the settings menu top right is a check-list menu of columns which can be displayed.
12. Can I use my created stocklists in Stock Alerts or the Trading System?
Yes - your stocklist is available across services and we will be building additional support to view your screener stocklists in the Watchlist.
